Hello readers! How are you? I hope you’re
always healthy and happy during this quarantine period. We have done the
quarantine for almost four months, and we can’t do our normal activities like
before. Campuses are closed to prevent the spread of coronavirus, and they
implemented an online learning method. Of course, this made us sad and feel
worried about our lesson. Don’t you miss the moment when we can spill “the tea”
with our friends? (Whoopsie) There’s a side of ourselves that hated quarantine
so much, but if we can look on the positive side, our quarantine will be fun to
enjoy. And here, I will share my experiences during quarantine days.
My quarantine day is not too special, I just do
the same routines every day. Just like what Patrick Star said, “I’ve been
waking up, eating, sleeping, waking up, eating, sleeping for my whole life
without a rest!” (haha). Besides that, I also take my online lessons and do all
of the tasks. To be honest, sometimes I feel worried about my study because I
can’t get a detailed explanation from my lecturer. I’m just hoping this
pandemic can quickly disappear. As an addition, I usually do my
responsibilities at home. Such as sweeping the floor, taking care of my siblings,
and washing the clothes.
But if I keep doing all of those routines it
will be boring, right? So to get rid of my boredom, I usually fill my day with
my hobbies and trying to do new things. If there are no tasks, I will take
several minutes to listen to my favorite songs. For me, listening to music can
help me relaxed for a while and I can feel all of my stresses are out from my
brain. Especially whenever I listen to the passionate one, it feels like my
energy has been recharged, and I got my mood back.
Second, I enjoy reading, especially reading
novels. For me, reading a novel is a fun activity to do. We can imagine the
story, dive into the sea of words, and get new vocabularies. The last book that
I’ve read is “Si Anak Spesial”, a novel from Tere Liye. It such a good story,
and has a deep meaning. I can’t wait to read another book from him!. And don’t
you know reading has many advantages too? It can reduce your stress, improves
focus and concentration, improves our language skills, and so many more!.
This time, I have realized that it’s important
to keep our body healthy, so at this moment I try to do exercise. To be honest,
I was motivated by some influencers on social media, I just amazed that they
could healthily lose their weight, so I was thinking “it never hurts to try”,
right?. I usually do exercise in the afternoon, because at that time, I’ve done
all of the tasks. After following the exercise, I can feel that my body becomes
healthier and I always feel happy every day.
To fill my spare time, sometimes I help my mom
to cook while learning to recreate her recipes. At first, I feel it so
difficult to do, but as time goes on finally I can get used to it. I have a
target in this quarantine to master one recipe from my mom. I’m planning to
learn to cook chicken satay with secret sauce, haha! Wish me luck^^
And last, I learn how to train my mind to be
positive. I’ve followed many accounts that contain useful content that can
embed positive vibes on my mind. And as a result, now I understand that our
happiness doesn’t come from the wealthiness, but it comes when we can be
grateful for what we have in our life.
Okay, maybe that’s all of my experiences during
this quarantine days. Even it feels boring sometimes, we have to stay
productive and keep being happy. I hope
