Tips and Tricks to Write Confidently

What Should I Write?

Have you ever feel frustrated while writing something? Like it feels so difficult for you until you ever think about ending the course and giving up anyway? Well, I feel the same too. In writing, we have to put all of our effort and motivation, officially, to make it looks good. But in our writing journey, there is always a problem. Stuck at one paragraph, starving for an idea, or lost our spirit. However, we can not stop! We have to continue our task to get the A grade! (haha). But, how can we resolve those problems? Do not worry, here, I will give you some tips and tricks to write confidently.

Firstly, before you type or write any words, please think about an idea. This is the most important part to do because, without an idea, your writing journey will be difficult. You can search for some references on google. For example, if you want to write an essay about education, search the relatable keyword with it, such as “essay about teaching method”. After you click the “magnifier” icon, voila! You got many ideas. But remember, make sure you use the trusted one.

Second, start creating a draft. A draft has an important function in your writing. First, it will help you to build your words, second, it helps you to make clear writing, and third, it helps you to remind what you have to write. You can start by writing your idea, make the topic sentence, then make some supporting details.  One thing you have to know, never create a “hurry-scurry” draft, if you do not want to weaken your writing foundation.

Third, begin to write confidently. Before you start writing, you have to check your schedules in a case to find the perfect day for writing. After you find the date, try to write in the morning. Normally, we can think and work better in the morning, so we can take this moment to write, and dive into the sea of words!

Fourth,  one of the most important things to do, revise your writing. After you write from the opening to the closing, do not forget to edit your writing. If you do revise, you will know what are the mistakes in your writing. Such as typos, grammatical errors, or the strange part. But remember, after you did your revising, correct all the mistakes and make it looks better than before.

Fifth, do not be shy to ask for help. Surely, you ever experienced the moment when you feel your writing is bad, or you can not even think about an idea. However, there's always an answer for a hard worker person. Do not be hopeless, seek for professional help, it can be your teacher, lecturer, or your trusted person. Discuss all of your problems with them until you get the answer. And remember, use polite language when you communicate with them.

Sixth, as an addition, set reading as your daily activity. From reading, you can enrich your knowledge which is useful when you want to write something. You can find new words, see various writing styles, or get the important knowledge to strengthen your writing. Start with reading the simplest one, such as newspapers and novels.

And the last, embed these words inside your soul “Never delay your work”. I know sometimes, we feel bored and lazy during our writing journey. notably, if the due date is still so far far away, we will say “Nah, I will do this tomorrow”. But in fact, you do nothing “tomorrow”. To avoid laziness, I will remind myself that my parents have done their best for my study, so I have to do all of my responsibilities as a student as well as possible.

That’s all of my tips and tricks in writing. I hope after you read this article, you can write something confidently, or you can be inspired, and find your comfort way to write. Before saying goodbye let me give you a quote from Louis L’Amour. “Start writing, no matter what, The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on”. Okay, goodbye readers, see you soon!
